Doctors Direct is pleased to announce Tim Bone, one of the most experienced claims executives in the insurance industry, as our new Vice President of Claims. Mr. Bone has over 45 years of experience in the medical professional liability insurance and risk management industry and has extensive experience in the underwriting of physicians and management of medical malpractice claims.
Most recently, Mr. Bone served as Chief Claims Officer of MedMal Direct Insurance Company. He has previously served as the President of MedMal Direct as well as President of Physicians Preferred Insurance Company. He has also worked at Standard Life Insurance Company, Medical Protective Company, Kentucky Medical Insurance Company, Florida Physicians Insurance Company, the American Institute of Medical Law, the Nemours Foundation, and Arthur J. Gallagher & Company’s Gallagher Healthcare Insurance Services. Mr. Bone holds a bachelor of science from DePauw University.
